What people come back for

Maryam and Anna, days apart this August, both left five stars. They named the same things: food that tastes different from plate to plate, plates that look composed, and a room they wanted to stay in.

The kitchen already works that way — overnight marinade, garlic dip every morning, baharat mixed by hand each week. One 100% halal line. 4.6 across 500+ Google reviews.

Flavour that changes from plate to plate

Maryam called the food “truly excellent,” “thoughtfully prepared,” “fresh,” “beautifully presented,” “authentic Lebanese,” and said “each dish has its own distinct flavour.” Anna wrote “7 Spices means authentic Lebanese cuisine, friendly staff, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere,” and photographed a mixed-grill platter — skewers, yellow rice, grilled tomato and onion, pickles, fattoush, roasted potatoes.

They came for a Lebanese kitchen that plates, and a room that held a family dinner.

The kitchen starts the night before

Chicken and beef go on the spit after an overnight marinade. Garlic dip is made every morning. The house baharat is mixed by hand each week — it warms the rice and marks the bowls people reorder. The line is one kitchen, 100% halal.

That is why one plate tastes garlic-forward and another tahini-rich — the distinct flavour Maryam named.

A table that stays yours

Anna’s line starts with 7Spices and ends on atmosphere. Maryam opened on the room and service before she got to the food.

A table that stays yours, an alcohol-free lounge, coffee after the grill, and a family corner that is actually a family sitting in it. The remodel was built for linger — plaster, wood, lantern light — and the owners spend the day in the room.

The wrap people reorder

The kitchen makes more Viral Crispy Shawarma than anything else on the menu: chicken, pickles, fries, and that morning garlic dip, pressed until the pita crackles. It is $10.

When a first-time table asks what to order, that wrap is what we hand them. When a group sits down, a mixed-grill platter is the plate that lands in the middle — three distinct skewers. Anna’s photograph was that kind of platter.
